Collie Ray Lambert

OAKWOOD – Collie Ray Lambert, 78, of Oakwood, passed away at 9:51 p.m. on December 11, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born April 10, 1944, in West Virginia to the late Willie and Garrnet (Porter) Lambert.  On April 29, 1967, he married Judy Wiley, who survives in Oakwood.

Collie is also survived by three children: Shannon Ray (Megan) Lambert of Oakwood, Christian (Evelyn) Lambert of Defiance, Jody Lambert of Van Wert; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three more on the way; and a sister: Anzo Dean Lambert of Ranger, West Virginia.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Willie Lambert, Jr.; a sister, Edith Carpenter; and a granddaughter, Chelsie Lambert.

Collie worked at General Motors, Defiance.  He loved to play music and was a member of the Opry Barn, Oakwood.  He enjoyed fishing and working on boats.  Collie loved and adored his grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
