Connie M. Miller
Kalida - Connie M. Miller, 71, of Kalida, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her residence.  She was born April 15, 1943 in Lima to the late Carl and Viola (Ruhe) Doepker.   On May 11, 1963, she married Jerry L. Miller who survives in Kalida.
Connie is also survived by their children: Jill (Greg) Zeller , Todd (Traci) Miller all of Kalida, Dawn Miller of Columbus and Dr. Ann Rea (Keith Fortman) Miller of Kalida; 2 step-brothers: Paul (Pauline) Wank and  Tom (Barb) Wank all of Leipsic; a step-sister: Nancy (Gerry) Lonsway  of Oregon, Ohio and 8 grandchildren: Joel, Grant, Jade, Jack and Will Zeller, Cole and Carlee Miller and Briggs Fortman.   She is also preceded in death by her step-father: Norbert Wank.
Connie was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida and its Altar Rosary Society.  She was both an elementary and high school  CCD Teacher.  She enjoyed collecting dolls of all kinds and doing crafts and sewing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township, where a scripture will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be give to the Parkinson's Association.
