Craig A. Wiswell

OTTAWA - Craig A. Wiswell, 49, of Ottawa, died on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 4, 1972 in Lima to Danny (Renee) Wiswell and Barb Steele Wiswell. His father and stepmother survive in Ottawa and his mother survives in Jackson Center.

Other survivors include three siblings: Lynn Elsberry of Lima, Cory (Lori) Wiswell of Jackson Center and Kane Wiswell of Ottawa; two step-sisters: Tami Arnone and Andrea (Brandon Fenbert) Nienberg, both of Ottawa; two step-brothers: Kevin Arnone and Steven Nienberg, both of Ottawa; paternal grandmother, Helen Wiswell of Columbus Grove; step-grandmother, Martha Steele; 13 nieces and nephews and one great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Lowell and Judy Steele; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Wiswell.

Craig worked at Brookhill Industries, Ottawa. He participated in the Special Olympics for 27 years. Craig was an avid sports fan who loved keeping up with all sports and enjoyed reading.

A funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Deacon Jim Rump officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Visitation will held 2- 8 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at the funeral home.
