Cynthia J. "Cindy" Grigsby

CONTINENTAL - Cynthia J. "Cindy" Grigsby, 59, of Continental, died 8:36 a.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born on August 27, 1962 in Napoleon to John and Linda (Meeks) Hill. Her parents survive in North Creek.  In May of 1999, she married Raye A. Grigsby who survives in Continental.

Other survivors include a stepson, Joe Grigsby of Troy; a stepdaughter, Jami Brown of Troy; 3 step-grandchildren: Jojo, Drew and Evelyn;  a sister, Deb (Darren) Shaffer of Continental;  a nephew, Dave Shaffer of North Creek; and a niece, Kristi Shaffer of Defiance.

Cindy retired from Marathon Oil in Findlay.  She attended Bethel Christian Church, Arthur and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Continental. She loved antiquing and had an infectious laugh.

A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Bethel Christian Church, Arthur with Rev. Christopher Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
