Dale R. "Styx" Warnecke

GLANDORF - Dale R. "Styx" Warnecke, 46, of Glandorf died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1972 in Lima to Urban and Helen (Ricker) Warnecke. His father is deceased, his mother survives in Glandorf.

He is also survived by seven brothers, Duane (Robin) Warnecke of Glandorf, Gary (Jeaneen) Warnecke of Columbus Grove, Greg (Mary Lynn) Warnecke, Dan (Janet) Warnecke, Mark (Jennifer) Warnecke, Dennis (Jodi) Warnecke, and John (Stacy) Warnecke all of Glandorf;  a sister, Lisa (Kevin) Schey of Glandorf; 22 nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Dale worked at Glandorf Lumber for 25 years. He was a 1991 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and a member of the Ottawa Eagles. Dale was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and its Men's Society. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP).
