Dalia Noriega

LEIPSIC - Dalia Noriega, 56, of Leipsic died Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence.  She was born April 21, 1965 in San Antonio, TX to the late Jesus and Paula (Garza) Noriega.

Survivors include two children: Mayra (Jesus Nieto) Noriega and Mario Noriega, both of Leipsic; five brothers: Adolfo Noriega and Arnulfo Noriega both of Belmore, Armando Noriega of Hamler, Rey Noriega of Chicago, IL and Raul Noriega of West Leipsic; and a sister, Olga (Aduviges) Escobedo of Leipsic.

She was also preceded in death by seven brothers: Jesus, Robert, Macario, Richardo, Ruben, Rolando and Ernesto.

Dalia was a caregiver to many in her community, most recently, Carol Meeks of Continental.  She was part owner of the former Mexican Village in Leipsic with her brother Jesse.  Dalia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and the Ottawa Eagles.  She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and wine tasting.

A funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Ron Schock officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Tuesday and one hour prior to the mass at LOVE -HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, LEIPSIC.

Memorial donations may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.
