Dana K. Vorst

GLANDORF – Dana K. Vorst, 30, of Glandorf, passed away 7:19 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 6, 1991, in Lima to Ronald and Denise (Rode) Schnipke, who survive in Glandorf.  On August 16, 2014, she married the love of her life, Brent Vorst, and he survives in Glandorf.

Other survivors include a daughter, Hazel Vorst at home; paternal grandmother, Dolores Schnipke of Glandorf; maternal grandfather, Art Rode of Landeck; three siblings: Jeff (Mary Caroline Holstein) Schnipke of Columbus, Emily (Cory) Fischer and Jason (Lauren Buddelmeyer) Schnipke, both of Glandorf.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Eleanor Vorst; paternal grandfather, Othmar Schnipke; and maternal grandmother, Patricia Rode.

Dana was a pediatric registered nurse at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.  She was a loving mother and wife, who always put her family first.  She was also a strong woman of faith and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral mass will begin 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Ken Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
