Daniel Siebeneck

LEIPSIC – Daniel Siebeneck, 79, of Leipsic died 1:34 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.  He was born January 11, 1943, in Leipsic to the late Clarence H. and Elizabeth M. (Meyer) Siebeneck.  In 1966 he married Patricia Otto, who preceded him in death in 1969.  On August 8, 1980, he married Carol Niese, who survives in Leipsic.

He is also survived by 2 children:  Danielle (Shane) Kleman of Leipsic and Mike (Miranda) Siebeneck of Glandorf; 4 grandchildren:  Aubrey, Grayden and Maverick Kleman and Kinsley Siebeneck; a sister:  Mary Scheckelhoff of Ottawa; a brother:  Bob (Sue) Siebeneck of Leipsic; a sister-in-law:  Marilyn Siebeneck of Glandorf and a brother-in-law:  Steve Boewe of Texas.

Dan is preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Tom Siebeneck and Leon "George" Siebeneck; a sister:  Janet Boewe and a brother-in-law:  Herb Scheckelhoff.

Dan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and was a lifelong farmer.  He had also worked for Allied Egri, Leipsic.  Dan was a member of the Leipsic Eagles and the Ottawa K of C.  Dan was a sprint car enthusiast.

Dan's funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 5, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and again from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.  There will be a scripture service 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
