Daniel A. Torres

FINDLAY – Daniel A. Torres, 77, of Findlay, died at 1:31 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  He was born September 16, 1945 in Lansing, MI to the late Santos (Aguilera) Saldana and stepfather, Charles Saldana.

Survivors include three children: Daniel Torres, Jr. of Uvalde, TX, Erby Torres of Lima and Eva Torres of Uvalde, TX; three grandchildren: Louis Torres of Lima, Star Torres of Leipsic and Haley Ruiz of Uvalde, TX; four great-grandchildren: Dash Torres, Santino Torres, Xayden Ruiz and Aleya Ruiz; and two sisters: Frances Saldana of Ottawa and Janie Saldana of Leipsic.

He was also preceded in death by two grandsons: Sheldon Galvan and Jonah Robles; and a brother, Carlos Saldana, Sr.

Daniel retired from Hearthside Food Solutions, McComb.  He was a quiet, wise and respectful man. Daniel loved taking care of his Cadillac cars and making jokes.

Funeral service will begin 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Deacon Ben Valdez officiating. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
