Danielle C. "Dani" (Selhorst) Tayler

LEIPSIC – Danielle C. "Dani" (Selhorst) Tayler, 41, of Leipsic died 10:11 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born July 14, 1980 in Findlay to Bruce G. Selhorst and Cindy (Sands) Diener.  Her father and Virginia survive in Hilliard.  Her mother and step father, David, survive in Marysville.  On June 18, 2011, she married Jay Tayler and he survives in Leipsic.

Other survivors include two sons: Dylan C. Hiegel of Leipsic and Reid W. Hiegel at home; two daughters: Allyson Tayler and Morgan (Cody Bourne) Tayler both of Rossford; four siblings: Jacob (Kayla) Selhorst of Canal Winchester, Felicia (Adam) Knepper of Findlay, Brianna (Josh) Grubb of Tokyo, Japan and Arianna (Tyler) Ellerbrock of New Bavaria; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Rieman of Leipsic.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sarah Ann Selhorst.

Dani was an LPN and Customer Service Representative at The Meadows of Leipsic.  She loved life and everyone in it; especially her family. She took exceptional care of all of her residents and was loved by so many.  She and Jay enjoyed traveling and going to baseball games.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at The Fogle Center in Leipsic.  The family invites all to come and honor Dani by sharing stories (mostly shenanigans) with them as they toast her full but short life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Hiegel Son's College Fund" c/o Jay Tayler at any Fort Jennings State Bank.
