Danny L. Cass

OTTAWA – Danny L. Cass, 66, of Ottawa died at 2:20 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf.  He was born April 3, 1951 in Lima to the late Willard and Doris (Quigley) Cass. On October 27, 1984 he married Marie M. Niese who survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving are five children, Ryan (Stephanie) Cass of Georgia, Shelley Fickel of Cleveland, Cory (Rob) Orta and Megan Cass both of Defiance, and Andy Cass of Ottawa; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Larry Nienberg of Ottawa. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Nienberg and a grandchild.

Danny retired from the Continental Post Office. He attended Xperience Church in Defiance.

A Funeral Service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. A private burial will be at a later date in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.
