Ottawa -- Darrell. W. Laughlin, 61, of Ottawa died 8:55 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 19, 1954 in Burlington, VT to Walter and Lucy (Sanderson) Laughlin. His father is deceased and his mother survives in Ottawa.

He is survived by four children: Jonelle Laughlin of Denham Springs, LA, Michael (Jenna) Laughlin of Walker, LA, John Laughlin of Anchorage, AK, Brittany (Malcolm) Averett of Denham Springs, LA; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three siblings: Brian (Sandy) Laughlin of Rush, NY, Dennis Laughlin of St. Albans, VT, and Linda Laughlin of Ottawa.
