David A. "Banger" Kuhlman
OTTAWA – David A. "Banger" Kuhlman, 71, of Ottawa, passed away at 8:23 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Mercy Health Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. He was born February 22, 1954, in Lima to the late Raymond and Catherine (Maidlow) Kuhlman. On November 7, 1983, he married Brenda Dickey, who survives in Ottawa.
Other survivors include four children: Dawn (Chris) Kuhlman-Noll of Chicago, IL, Mark Kuhlman of Ottawa, Rachel (James) Courtney of Gilboa and Jenny (Ken) Burwell of Miller City; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Dean (Cindy) Kuhlman, Beverly (John) Potts, Kevin (Joan) Kuhlman, all of Ottawa, Jeff (Rhonda) Kuhlman of Gilboa and Mike (Lynn) Kuhlman of Ottawa.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Titus; two siblings: Marge Kuhlman Dysert and Barry Kuhlman; and a nephew, Ricky Dysert.
David retired from Philips, Ottawa. He was a member of the Ottawa Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating at Indian Lake, and playing cards with his family. David was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, NASCAR, and Cleveland Browns.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ottawa Eagles. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
