David B. Wright

OTTAWA – David B. Wright, 67, of Ottawa, died at 12:58 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2023 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born March 6, 1956, in Toledo to the late Dr. John M. and R. Madelynn (Young) Wright.

He is survived by three siblings: Pam (Jim) Ballreich of Fostoria, Lorah (David) MacIntosh of Acme, MI and Chris (Marcy) Wright of Williamsburg, VA; a sister-in-law, Ginger Wright of Reseda, CA; and six nieces and nephews: John M. Wright III, Stacy Ballreich, Keri Norton, David Richter, Liesl Richter and Lily Wright.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, John M. Wright.

David worked for Lock 16 Steakhouse.  He was a former JSD entertainer and singer.  He enjoyed collecting coins and marbles.  David was a believer in Jesus Christ and attended various churches. He always talked fondly about all his family and friends from different times of his life.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.  Visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
