Debra Ann Cavanaugh

OTTAWA - Debra Ann Cavanaugh, 58, of Ottawa, died 6:40, a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at her residence.  She was born May 28, 1958 in Lima to Karl and Anna Mae (Ellerbrock) Morman of Ottawa.  On November 24, 1978, she married Gregory Cavanaugh who survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving are two children : Michelle (Paul) Maag of Glandorf and Scott Cavanaugh of New Albany; two grandchildren: Chase Maag and Brooklynn Maag; four siblings: Vicky (Steve) Barlage of Glandorf, Lisa (Mark) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Mark (Stacy) Morman of Ottawa and Amy (Dave) Birkemeier of Glandorf.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Adalynn Maag.

Debra worked in the produce department at Kohls Market in Ottawa.  She was a 1977 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School.  She enjoyed grilling and bonfires.  Deb loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dog Skooter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa.        In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) or Putnam County Hospice.
