Delbert A. "Al" Desgrange
Continental - Delbert A. "Al" Desgrange, 80, of Continental died 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born June 25, 1933 in Miller City to the late Frank W. and Florence Ellen (Sigler) Desgrange.  On September 20, 1952, he married Mildred Coble who survives in Continental.
He is also survived by a daughter: Debra (Gary) Hunt of Defiance; 2 grandchildren: Kelly (BJ) Moss and Todd (Ericha) Hunt both of Continental; 3  great-grandchildren:  Zachary, Mackenzie and Gaven; a brother: Bernard (Sue) Desgrange of Columbus Grove and a sister: Karen Henry of Ottawa.  He is also preceded in death by two brothers: Clifford and Olen.
Delbert was a machinist. He retired from SK Tools in 1995.  He also owned Desgrange  Trenching.   He enjoyed camping and traveling.
A funeral service will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental, with Rev. Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.   Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the charity of donor's choice.
