Demetrius A.B. Meeks

Oakwood-Demetrius A.B. Meeks, 7 weeks of age, passed away 4:51 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born December 12, 2015 in Van Wert to Joshua and Courtney (Bartley) Meeks, who survive in Ft. Jennings.

Also surviving are three brothers: Dante and Trenton Meeks, Tristen  Draper; a sister: Aleah Drake; paternal grandparents: Jim and Nan Meeks of Oakwood, Ruth Pritchard of Branchland, WVA and Donna Meeks of Paulding; maternal grandparents: Randy Bartley of Continental, Dena Johnson and Tom Hill of New Bavaria, Howard and Novella Bartley of Continental; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood, with Pastor Michael Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
