DENNIS F. GERDEMAN
OTTAWA– Dennis F. Gerdeman, 61, of Ottawa, died 11:45 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima.  He was born December 13, 1953 in Lima to Linus and Rosemary (Otto) Gerdeman.  His father is deceased.  His mother survives in Ottawa.  On August 16, 1980, he married Lisa Ward and she survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are 5 children:  Jaime (Andrew) Stevens of Pickerington, Jennifer (Zach) Monnin of Anna, Andrea (Jeff Halaparda) Gerdeman of Columbus, Nicholas Gerdeman and Bradley Gerdeman both at home; 5 grandchildren and one on the way: Patrick Stevens, Maxwell Stevens, Oliver Halaparda, Xavier Monnin and Scarlett Monnin; 2 brothers and 4 sisters: Gary (Pat) Gerdeman of Ottawa, Judy (Cliff) Knapp of Swanton, Nancy (Jerry) Niese of Ottawa, Cheryl (Roger) Niese of Leipsic, Jeff (Lisa) Gerdeman of Ottawa and Amy (Mike) Gerding of Glandorf; and a brother-in-law: Denny Kuhlman of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Deb Kuhlman.
Dennis worked for Marathon Oil in Findlay for 29 years in Telecommunications.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, Leipsic Rod and Gun Club and was a 1972 graduate of Miller City High School.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.   Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a Parish Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
