Glandorf - Dennis "Bing E. Hermiller, 72, of Glandorf died 5:42 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at The James Cancer Center, Columbus. He was born February 8,1944 in Union Twp. to the late John and Mary (Rosenbauer) Hermiller.
Bing is survived by three brothers: Lavern (Marg) Hermiller of Bluffton, Arthur (Roni) Hermiller of Coldwater, John (Mary Ann) Hermiller of Glandorf; four sisters: Florence (Thaddeus) Schroeder of Leipsic, Doris (Cleo) Liebrecht and Margaret Schimmoeller all of Glandorf and Donna (Adrian) Utrup of Ottawa; and three sisters-in-law: Louann Hermiller of Pandora, Ruth Hermiller of Kalida, and Bertha Hermiller of Glandorf. He is also preceded in death by four brothers: Wilfred, Richard, Carl and Harold Hermiller; four sisters: Joyce Hermiller, Mary Ann Hermiller, Genevieve Rosengarten, Delores (Arthur) Schimmoeller, Alice Hermiller, Dolores Hermiller; and three brothers-in-law: Felix Fenbert, Kenneth Schimmoeller, and Henry Rosengarten.
Bing was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. He was a lifetime farmer, a member of the Putnam County Farm Bureau, and Farmer's Union.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the St. John Capital Improvement Campaign, Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program (CAP), or for masses.
