Dennis R. Nienberg
Glandorf - Dennis R. Nienberg, 75, of Glandorf died at 12:37 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2014 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born September 22, 1938 in Lima to the late Thomas and Mildred (Fischer) Nienberg.  On August 18, 1962, he married Edna Hedrick who survives in Glandorf.
Dennis is also survived by his 2 children: Brent (Paula) Nienberg of Lexington, Kentucky and Cynthia Nienberg of Glandorf; 2 brothers: Melvin (Diane) Nienberg and T. Russell (Barb) Nienberg both of Glandorf; a sister: Jean (Norman) Smith of Sidney; a sister-in-law: Judith Nienberg of Glandorf; 4 grandchildren: Andrew and Logan Elek, Ashley Hall, and Kaitlin Nienberg; and a great-grandson: Noah Chadwell.   He is preceded in death by a brother: Jack Nienberg.
Dennis was a partner in Nienberg Supply Company, Glandorf. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, its Holy Name Society and Men's Choir. He was a retired member of Glandorf  Fire Department. He had been in the Army National Guard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a Glandorf Men's Choir service at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and a scripture service at 1:45 p.m., a Glandorf Fire Department service at 7 p.m., and a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. all on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, to the Putnam County EMS, or for memorial masses.
