Dennis D. Ricker
COLUMBUS GROVE - Dennis D. Ricker, 76 of Columbus Grove died 3:39 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St. Rita's Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. He was born June 15, 1945 in Lima to the late Alfred and Alma (Weis) Ricker. His longtime companion Rebecca "Becky" Brown died May 13, 2019.
Survivors include three daughters: Annette Carroll, Stacey Bogart and Melissa Ricker, all of Lima; nine grandchildren: Andrew Ricker, Robert Collins, Cheyanne Carroll, Brittney Ricker-Schmitt, Jonah Bogart, Micah Bogart, Jeremy Ricker, Joshua Ricker and Baylee Snavely; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Larry (Alice) Ricker and Ron (Sara) Ricker both of Kalida.
He was also preceded in death by eight brothers: Gerald (Patty), Joseph (MaryLou), Norman, Alfred Jr., Don, Tom, Ken and Urban (Rose) Ricker; and seven sisters: Rita Jane (Don) Gibson, JoAnn Ricker, Marietta Romes, Dorothy (Don) Gulker, Margie (Arnold) Okuley Delores Ricker and Sharon Kuhlman.
Dennis retired after working at Weather Seal and Philips. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, the Carpenters Labor Union; Ottawa Eagles, and social member of the Columbus Grove VFW. Dennis was very well known and loved by many friends and neighbors. He was also a loving father, papa and great-grandpa.
Funeral mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at LOVE-FUNERAL HOME, OTTAWA.
