Dennis Smith's Obituary
Punta Gorda, FL - Dennis M. "Smitty" Smith, 60, died at 8:05 p.m. October 26, 2013 at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda, FL. Dennis was born November 23, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to the late Serge and Catherine (Crawfis) Smith.
He is survived by his son: Derrick J. Smith of Vaughnsville; and a sister Sharri Baxter of Punta Gorda, FL; as well as many other loving family members.
Dennis was a 1971 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He enjoyed his career as an OTR truck driver for many years. He was a free spirited, adventurous individual with a wonderful sense of humor. He was always the life of the party. Dennis was an outstanding man and loved by many.
He will have a private graveside service at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where condolences can be expressed at: www.lovefuneralhome.com.
