Diane Etta Knepper
TOLEDO – Diane Etta Knepper, 70, of Toledo, passed away on September 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born on September 16, 1953, in Traverse City, MI to the late Waldo Orland and Frances Marie (Stewart) Knepper.
Diane is survived by her siblings: Dean (Anh) Knepper of Ashburn, VA., William Dosh of Kentucky, and Ralph Braden of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Paula Braden and two brothers, Orland Eugene Knepper and Lawrence Braden.
Diane was a retired teacher at Oregon City Schools. She enjoyed golfing with friends, and a good glass of wine in the evening. Diane was an avid reader. She was very active supporting her students at school and liked volunteering at the Toledo Museum of Arts. Diane was a big Ohio State fan. She was a member of the Lucas County Retired Teachers Association, as well as the Delta Gamma Society International. Diane loved her pets.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, with Pastor Marcella Ciccotelli. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be held Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
