Dianna L. Brinkman
CONTINENTAL - Dianna L. Brinkman, 63, of Continental died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 28, 1951 in Valdosta, GA to the late Theodore Frederick and Virginia Marie (Bear) Kuhn. On August 4, 1973 she married Nick D. Brinkman who died July 4, 2003.
She is survived by a granddaughter: Katie Marie Brinkman of Lima; 3 sisters: Bee P. Craig of Napoleon, Marie (Ron) Rohrs of Bryan, and Emma Shaffer of Continental; a brother: William Kuhn of Columbus City, IN; and a sister-in-law: Cheryl Kuhn of Continental. She was also preceded in death by a brother: Richard Kuhn; a sister: Carol Sherry; and her stepfather: Paul Budd.
Dianna was a retired bus driver for Head Start. She was a former member of Continental American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
The family wants to say a special thanks to the caring staff of Putnam County Home Health Care and Hospice, Dr. Jennifer Maag, and Okuley Pharmacy for their outstanding care.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
