Dolores E. Pohl
GLANDORF - Dolores E. Pohl, 77, of Glandorf, died peacefully after a short illness 1:34 a.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born April 30, 1937 in Avis, Ohio to the late Hubert and Adelia (Rechtine) Buddelmeyer. On August 17, 1955, she married Clarence Pohl and he died October 14, 2009 after 54 years of marriage.
Survivors include 3 children: Barbara (James) Rutkowski of Toledo, Joyce Meyer of Elida and Randall (K Messer) Pohl of Wapakoneta; proud Oma of her loving grandchildren: Sarah and Grace Rutkowski, Kyle and Ian Meyer, Clara Pohl, and Jack, Emily and Guy Messer.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Eugene, Delbert and Marvin Buddelmeyer.
Dolores was a homemaker and volunteered at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Glandorf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a parish rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
