NEW CLEVELAND – Dolores A. Kuhlman, 90, of New Cleveland, passed away at 5:32 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born August 18, 1933 in New Cleveland to the late Harry and Lena (Bellman) Kreinbrink. On June 18, 1953, she married John J. Kuhlman. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2011.

Survivors include six children: Karen (Dan) Niese of Ottawa, Barbara (Dan) Verhoff of Miller City, Patricia (Carl) Gerten of Leipsic, David (Caryl) Kuhlman of Ada, Jean (Tom) Forster of Miller City and Martin (Shawnda) Kuhlman of Leipsic; 17 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 46 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Janet Kreinbrink.

She was also preceded in death by three siblings: Angela (Vernon) Wolke, Norbert (Joan) Kreinbrink and Melvin Kreinbrink.

Dolores was a homemaker and previously worked for the Putnam County Council on Aging as the transportation coordinator. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland, its Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Miller City Sportsman Club.  She was instrumental in starting 4-H in New Cleveland, loved to play cards and enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, children and grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland with Fr. Scott Perry and Deacon Doyle Erford officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, with a rosary service starting at 1:45 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
