Donald L. Bolman
WEST LEIPSIC - Donald L. Bolman, 82, of West Leipsic died at 3:56 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at The Meadows of Leipsic. He was born January 8, 1931 in Continental to the late Ernest and Ora (Combs) Bolman. On June 30, 1956 he married Janice Skiver who died September 21, 1988.
He is survived by 3 children: David Bolman, Tamara (Gary) Warren, and Michael (Norma) Bolman all of Leipsic; 6 grandchildren: Crystal (Bobby) Romero, Brandi Bolman, Holly (Dennis) Bockrath, Michael Bolman, Brittney Bolman, Jasmine Warren; 10 great-grandchildren: Moses Romero, Gabriella Romero, Ezekiel Romero, Grace Romero, Natalie Bockrath, Caily Bockrath, Dennis Bockrath III, Brennen Bockrath, Aiden Bockrath, Martez Bratton; a brother: Richard (Dewilla) Bolman of Defiance; and a sister: Kay (Wayne) Kratzer of Leipsic.
Don was a printing press operator for Allied Egry for 45 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a sergeant in the 39th Field Artillery, 3rd Division. He was a life member of the Leipsic VFW, member of Leipsic American Legion #287, D.A.V., and the Gilboa American Legion #536. He was also a member of New Hope Bethel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Tom Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, West Leipsic, with military rites by the Leipsic and Gilboa American Legions. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
