Donald Keith Ketner
Palmetto FL--Donald Keith Ketner 71 of Palmetto, FL originally from Oakwood died at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday September 17 at Manatee Memorial Hospital Bradenton Florida after an extended illness.  Donald was born September 23, 1943 to Forrest "Pete" Ketner and Florence Matson Ketner in Paulding Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Sheri Rau Ketner of Palmetto Florida, daughters Nita Ketner of New Orleans, Anne (Bob) Smith of Glandorf, Julie (Casey) Sears of Johnson City, TN and two grandchildren Hannah and Ryan Smith of Glandorf; and special friend whom he considered a son, Rod Schwarzman.
Keith retired from GM in July of 2002 with over 30 years of service.  His hobbies included shooting sporting clays, reloading ammunition and music. He also loved Jesus and gave his heart to serve him in 1983 and was baptized a couple of years later.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday September 20th at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood. Burial will be in Manatee County Florida at a later date. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 19th at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood.
