BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA (formerly of Ottawa) - Donald L. Michel, 79, passed away at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024, surrounded by his family at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on December 8, 1944, in Toledo, OH. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Hovest) Michel, of Broken Arrow, OK; his two daughters and sons-in-law: Christine (Jeffrey) Traynor of Joplin, MO, Cheryl (Matthew) Beese of Broken Arrow, OK; three grandchildren: Sam Burnside of Webb City, MO, Morgan Burnside and fiancé Micah Alford of Portland OR, and Sloane Beese of Broken Arrow, OK; and two sisters: Pat (John) Scheiber of Coppel, TX and Sue (Bob) Karhoff of Kalida, OH Private burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Glandorf.
