Donald E. Priest GROVER HILL - Donald E. Priest, 76, of Grover Hill, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Meadows of Kalida.  He was born August 31, 1948, to the late Walter and Norma (Matson) Priest.  On August 5, 1972, he married Janet A. Renn, she preceded him in death on July 28, 2018. Don is survived by four children:  Jason "Jake" (Kay) Priest of Cloverdale, Marie (Samuel) Carns of Mansfield, Steven (Alicia) Gilbert and Jonathan Gilbert, both of Grover Hill; fourteen grandchildren; and siblings: William Priest, Jeff Priest, Marilyn Everly, Pamela Chadwick, and Ruth Nagle. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Michelle Porter, and Beverly (Larry) Phillips; and a brother, Joseph Priest. Don was a lifelong farmer and truck driver.  He loved gardening and listening to country music.  Don was always there to help anyone that needed a hand. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Mandale Church of Christ in Christian Union, with Pastor Tony Gonzales and Pastor Don Rodgers officiating.  Burial will follow at Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
