Donald "Ned" Tracy

CONTINENTAL – Donald "Ned" Tracy, 67, of Continental, died at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his residence.  He was born July 17, 1954 in Defiance to Donald "Ed" and Jacquelin (Amspaugh) Tracy, his father is deceased and his mother survives in Continental.  On January 26, 1985, he married Teresa Schwarzman, she also survives in Continental.

Ned is also survived by a daughter: Elizabeth (Kevin Held) Tracy of Tiffin; a granddaughter: Harriet Isabelle Held; a sister: Deborah (Dan) Homier of Cloverdale; and two nephews: Matt Homier and Ben Homier.

Ned was the owner of Tracy's Hardware in Continental.  He enjoyed NASCAR, and drove for the ARCA Series in the 70's.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Charles Schmunk officiating.  A visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
