Donna Jean Morman

LEIPSIC – Donna Jean Morman, 74, of Leipsic, passed away at 3:25 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born July 22, 1948, in Lima to the late Paul and Lucille (Hermiller) Spangler.  On July 8, 1972, she married William F. Morman, he preceded her in death on January 9, 1990.

Donna is survived by two daughters: Lori (Brad) Rosebrook of Hamler and Lisa (Loren) Ickes of Leipsic; seven grandchildren: Caleb Rosebrook, Cody Rosebrook, Collin Rosebrook, Olivia (Nick) Fenbert, Alexis Ickes, Logan Ickes, and Lane Ickes; one great-grandchild: Jayden Ickes and one on the way; three brothers: Jim Spangler, Dave (Marlene) Spangler, both of Leipsic, and Dennis Spangler of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

She is also preceded in death by an infant sister, Carol Ann Spangler.

Donna worked as a cook at Putnam Acres, Ottawa for many years.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.  Donna was also a member of the Leipsic Eagles Auxiliary, where she had served as Auxiliary President for a time.  She enjoyed canning.

Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Father Randy Giesige officiating.  Burial will follow in church cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m., and again on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
