Doris M. Bockrath KALIDA - Doris M. Bockrath, 73, of Kalida, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones at 4:19 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024.  She was born January 25, 1951, in Lima to the late William and Lucille (Warnement) Gilgenbaugh.  On December 9, 1972, she married Gary A. Bockrath, he preceded her in death on July 15, 2012. Doris is survived by three children:  Casey (John) Altieri of Columbus, Graeme Bockrath, and Justin (Heather) Bockrath, both of Kalida; seven grandchildren: Lucy, Josie, Gianna and Michael Altieri, Graeme Kage Bockrath, and Dominic and Kallie Bockrath; and a sister Beverly Unverferth of Kalida. Doris had worked at Dick's Steak House, Kalida, she found great joy in talking to her customers there.  She loved to travel and go on adventures with family and friends.  Doris was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Phil Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and again from 8:45 a.m. to 9: 45 a.m. on Saturday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township. A rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Michael Catholic Church for masses.
