Doris A. Nichols

OTTAWA - Doris A. Nichols, 88 of  Ottawa died 4:53 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born February 5, 1932 in Ottawa, to the late Orville and Alvada (Leatherman) Moore.

Doris is survived by her children: William (Kathy) Nichols, Robert (Linda) Nichols, and Lucinda (Juan) Vasquez all of Ottawa; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Sara Ellen "Sally" Maag of Ottawa.

She is preceded in death by two brothers: Edward and Lloyd Moore; and a sister Alma Jean Wehri.

Doris was retired from Philips, formerly of Ottawa.  She enjoyed listening to country music.  She liked to go camping and work in her garden.  Doris also enjoyed adult coloring books.

A private service will be held at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Main St. Ottawa.

Burial will take place in Harman Cemetery.
