Doris E. Taylor

FINDLAY – Doris E. Taylor, 94, of Findlay, died at 4:56 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born January 17, 1927 in Van Wert to the late Gerald and Sara (Blackmore) Williamson.  On January 19, 1947, she married Roy J. Taylor. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2011.

Doris is survived by four children: Michael (Debra) Taylor of Arlington, Kathy (Ronald) St. Laurent of Windham, NH, Jeff (Kathy) Taylor of Findlay, Charles (Lorie) Taylor of Leipsic; and a son-in-law, Fred Smith of  Norway, MI; seven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Smith; a granddaughter, Rachael St. Laurent;  two brothers: James and Eugene Williamson; and a sister, Mary Jane Weck.

Doris loved music, needlepoint, sewing and painting.

A graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2021 at Benton Ridge Cemetery, Benton Ridge with Pastor Richard Hiltibran officiating.  Following the service, there will be a gathering at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Benton Ridge.
