Dorothea J. Wilkinson FINDLAY - Dorothea J. Wilkinson, 93, of Findlay, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at The Willows at Tiffin.  She was born January 6, 1932, in Leipsic to the late Clyde and Gertrude (Fenstermaker) Hector. On June 10, 1951, she married Paul E. Wilkinson, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2022. She is survived by three children: Dr. Linda (Donette) Alonzo-Helmick of Columbia, MO, Larry (Karen) Wilkinson of Findlay and Lee (Susan) Wilkinson of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five siblings: Helen Fabian Manring of Ashland, Ardith Haughn of Traverse City, MI, Pat (Tom) Craft of Kettering, Dwight (Rogette) Hector of Ellettsville, IN, Laura (Bill) Drerup of Punta Gorda, FL; and a sister-in-law, Marsha Hector of Bluffton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, David Paul Wilkinson; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Eugene Hector and Wayne (Bonnie) Hector; and three brothers-in-law: Al Fabian, Gerald Manring and Edward Haughn. Dorothea retired from RCA where she was the company nurse. She also spent years working at Blanchard Valley Hospital and was co-owner of Shady Lake Campground with her husband, Paul. She was a member of Gilboa United Methodist Church. Dorothea enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her friends and family. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Gilboa United Methodist Church with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating.  Burial will follow at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
