Dorothy H. Duling

OTTAWA – Dorothy H. Duling, 87, of Ottawa died 8:55 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born October 7, 1930 in Miller City to the late Manly and Anna (Mannle) Carnahan.  On August 11, 1951, she married Leader B. "Lee" Duling.  He died June 15, 2004.

Survivors include five children: Linda McGhee of Ottawa, Francis (Tish) Duling of Ottawa, Virginia (George) Kleman of Continental, Ken Duling of Pandora and Paul (Brenda) Duling of Gilboa; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Betty Keeney of Ft. Wayne, IN and Barb Martin of Gladwain, MI.

She was also preceded in death by two sons: John Duling and Michael Duling; three deceased grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers: Jim Carnahan and Robert Carnahan; three sisters: Martha (Ken) CeKander, Mary Jane (Vincent) Michaels and Patricia (Leroy) Moore and a brother-in-law, George Martin.

Dorothy was a cook and homemaker.  She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.  She loved to watch The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and old western movies.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a scripture service at 7:50 p.m.

Memorial donations may be given to Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
