Dorothy H. Dildine
Dorothy H. Dildine, 93, formerly of Leipsic, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Shady Grove Hospital in Gaithersburg, MD. She was born November 7, 1919 in Coleman Falls, Bedford Co., VA to the late Hugh and Virginia (Knight) Stultz, Sr. On September 23, 1939, she married Ross E. (Red) Dildine who died January 20, 1997.
She is survived by two sons, Dale of Lake Junaluska NC, and Larry (Kay) of Gaithersburg MD, and a daughter Mrs. Diane (Dan) O'Neal of Island Lake IL; also seven grandsons, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, and a brother.
Dorothy was a homemaker who was devoted to her children, an active member of the First Christian Church during her 65 years in Leipsic, and made appointments for the family plumbing business.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m., Monday, March11, 2013 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME in Leipsic with Rev. Tim Eding officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
