Duane T. Haselman

HAMLER – Duane T. Haselman, 72, of Hamler, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at his residence.  He was born March 1, 1951, in Lima to the late Thomas and Arlene (Recker) Haselman.  On March 6, 1976, he married Barbara A. Showman, who survives in Hamler.

Other survivors include two daughters: Melissa (David) Roll and Melinda (Travis) David, both of Leipsic; four grandchildren: Bailey, Grant, Taryn and Trent David; and six siblings: Janet (Larry) Bockrath of Glandorf, Nancy (Doug) Schroeder of Kalida, Karen (Robert) Warnecke of Ottawa, Jerry Haselman, Marvin Haselman and Randy (Joan) Haselman, all of Leipsic.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Haselman.

Duane was a retired truck driver from USF Holland in Bowling Green.  He was also a lifelong farmer and raised cattle.

Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2023 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Rev. Richard Sauerlender officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date.
