Dwight D. Lawrence

Belmore – Dwight D. Lawrence, 83, of Belmore died 4:18 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at his residence.  He was born September 6, 1940, in Alger to the late Dell and Pauline L. (Gunn) Lawrence.  On October 11, 1963, he married Carol Lee Smith, who survives.

Also surviving are 3 sons:  Damien Thompson of Cleveland, Kelly (Rhonda) Lawrence of Crossville TN and Alan (Melinda) Lawrence of Elida; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Sheila Cavinder of Russells Point.

He is preceded in death by a son:  Larry Lawrence; 4 brothers:  David Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Steve Lawrence and Jerry Lawrence; and 6 sisters:  Diana Wiess, Nona Hawk, Virginia White, Elaine Lambert, Helen Lawrence and Marilyn Spradlin.

Dwight retired from Philips ECG, Ottawa and was a member of His Light Ministry, Deshler.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.  The arrangements are under the direction of Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic.  Memorial contributions may be made to Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home to help with the cost of funeral expenses.
