Edith M. "Edie" Worline
DUPONT -   Edith M. "Edie" Worline, 73, of Dupont died at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1940 in Kieferville to the late Russel  and Florence (Pease) Moore. On August 2, 1958 she married Eugene Worline, Sr. who survives in Dupont.
Also surviving are 3 children: Gene (Amy) Worline, Jr., of Grove City, PA, Jenni (Rick) Snively of Pandora, and Debra (Frank) Leatherman of Oakwood; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on-the-way; a sister: Patricia (Ted) Froelick of Continental; a brother: Loyal "Pete" (Sally) Moore of Spokane, WA.; a brother-in-law: Carl Selhorst of Leipsic; and 2 sisters-in-law:  Leona Moore of Columbus Grove and Bonnie Moore of Continental. She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Jacob Leatherman; 2 sisters: Katie (Don) Wisner and Esther Selhorst; and 2 brothers: Russel and Leroy Moore.
Edie was previously employed at Zeller in Defiance, Vi's Pizza in Continental, and Beckman's Draperies in Delphos. She also was a self-employed candy and cake maker, sewed for others, and sold Tiara glassware. Edie loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing for her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed creating things including clothing, quilts, afghans, ceramics, and paintings for her family and friends. Edie was a member of Auglaize Chapel Church of God in Oakwood.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Auglaize Chapel Church of God in Oakwood with Pastor Gene Worline, Jr. and Pastor Stan Harman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
