Edna V. Bruns
Miller City - Edna V. Bruns, 98, of  Ottawa formerly of Miller City died 5:05 a.m. Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  She was born September 4, 1915 in Miller City to the late John and Mary (Wagner) Noon. On March 23, 1940, she married Richard "Pete" Bruns, Sr. who died October 14, 1988.
Edna is survived by a son: John (Judy) Bruns of Worthington; 4 grandchildren: Mike Bruns, Kelly Meyer, David (Julie) Bruns, Matthew (Justine) Bruns; 8 great-grandchildren: Jessica Meyer, Jordan Bruns, Katelyn Warniment, Kori Bruns, Paige Bruns, Sydney Bruns, Ainslee Bruns and Hadlee Bruns; and 1 great-great-grandchild: Preston Schnieder, with one on the way.  She is preceded in death by a son: Richard Bruns, Jr.; 3 sisters: Eve Zigler, Mae and Anna; and 6 brothers: Arthur, Edmond, Clarence, Lawrence, Glen and Albert Noon.
Edna retired from GTE Sylvania after 30 years where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club.  She was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler with Pastor Lindsay Shaner officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
