Edna E. Newlan

LAKEVIEW - Edna E. Newlan, 96, of Lakeview, formerly of Ottawa, stepped into glory Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., at Logan Acres in Bellefontaine. She was born January 7, 1921 in Ottawa to the late Andrew and Clara J. (Agner) Pacey. On August 4, 1951 she married Eugene B. Newlan who died February 16, 2013.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Grindley of Lakeview and Cindy (Larry) Unterbrink of Huntsville; four grandchildren, Tom Chamberlin, Misti Bailey, Nick (Kristy) Unterbrink, and Neil (Amanda) Unterbrink; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl Pacey and four sisters, Gertrude Moore, Marie Saunders, Edith Eby, and Rita Steffan.

Edna was a homemaker. She attended several different churches of the Christian Faith.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
