Edna White
Ottawa – Edna White, 78, of Ottawa, died 1:23 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born September 23, 1934 in Leipsic to the late Lewis and Kathryn (Gores) Haselman. On November 21, 1953, she married Clark G. White who died October 13, 2006.
Edna is survived by 2 sons: Tom White of Birmingham, Al; Terry (Sandy) White of Glandorf; 2 daughters: Jayma (Bill) Watkins of Hamilton, Ind.; Joan (Jack) Burwell of Ottawa; 12 grandchildren: Emily, Katie, Mandy, Kylie, Ethan, Madeline, Colin, Ella, Megan, Michael, Brittany and Brandon; a great-grandson: Vincent; and 2 sisters: Joan Carter and Mary Haselman both of St. Louis, MO.
Edna was a homemaker and co-owned with her husband the Car-E-It Party Shop in Ottawa for more than 40 years. She is a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Ottawa Sr. Citizen's Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will be at 2:30 p.m. and a Rosary service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: Putnam Co. Home Care & Hospice or Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or school.
