Eduardo DeLaRosa

LEIPSIC - Eduardo DeLaRosa, 84, of Leipsic, passed away at 9:52 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at The Meadows of Leipsic. He was born September 2, 1941, in Hidalgo, TX to the late Lucio and Zenobia (Mungia) DeLaRosa. On March 14, 1959, he married Delia Gallegos, who preceded him in death on March 21, 2006.

He is survived by seven children: Rodolfo DeLaRosa of Ottawa, Irene (Mark) Factor of Ottawa, Eduardo DeLaRosa, Jr. of Fremont, Richard DeLaRosa of Lexington, KY, Dan (Norma) DeLaRosa of West Leipsic, Sylvia DeLaRosa and Sandy (Rick) Moyer, both of Leipsic; 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and two siblings.

In addition to his parents and wife, Delia, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ida M. Velasquez; and several siblings.

Eduardo retired from the former Consolidated Biscuit, McComb. He had also worked as a mechanic for Libby's in Leipsic. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic. Family meant the world to Eduardo. He loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers and cars.

Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
