Edward A. Drummelsmith
Miller City- Edward A. Drummelsmith, 87, of Miller City, died 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born April 11, 1925 in Putnam County, Ohio to the late Henry and Katherine (Birkemeier) Drummelsmith.  On June 18, 1947, he married Marie Brickner, who died August 31, 2008.
Ed is survived by 3 three sons: Eugene Drummelsmith of Weston, James (Terrie) Drummelsmith and Ronald (Rosemary) Drummelsmith all of Miller City; 1 daughter: Betty (Jerry) Clay of Lima; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a brother: Raymond Drummelsmith.
Ed was a retired farmer.  He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, Ottawa Eagles, Miller City Sportsman's Club and Leipsic Fish and Hunt Club.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Fr. Stephen Schroeder officiating.  Burial will follow in church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where a scripture service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday at funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the charity of donor's choice.
