Eileen M. Winkle

OTTAWA - Eileen M. Winkle, 97, of Ottawa died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born April 1, 1920 in Leipsic to the late Cloyce and Allie (Conine) Haughn. On April 20, 1941 she married Mallie C. Winkle who died May 7, 2004.

She is survived by two daughters, Aunna Lee "Ginger" (Junior) Zachrich of Daphne, AL and  Pamela "Penny" Winkle of Dayton; a daughter-in-law, Barb Winkle of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Mallory, Tasha, Kellsie, Sheila, and Sherry; and one great-grandchild, Danielle. She was also preceded in death by her son Dennis, two sisters, Iris Haas and Nancy Haughn.

Eileen was a seamstress in Ottawa for many years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Ottawa.

A Funeral Service  will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME,  Ottawa with Pastor Denny Coates officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
