Eileen Kemper
Ottoville - Eileen Kemper, 77, of Cloverdale, died 4:10 a.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born February 11, 1937 in Cuba to the late Alfred and Philomena (Vennekotter) Rieman. On June 3, 1961 she married Joseph E. Kemper who died July 3, 2002.
Eileen is survived by her 2 sons: Roger (Holly) Kemper of Cloverdale and Dan (Stephanie) Kemper of Ottoville; 6 grandchildren: Eliza Scheblo, Alayna Kemper, Alysia Kemper, Mila Kemper, Riley Kemper and Layne Kemper; a brother: Virgil (Mary Lou) Rieman of Glandorf and a sister: Margaret (Virg) Niese of Leipsic; 7 In-laws: Arnold Kemper, Isidore Kemper, Theresa Kramer, Agnes Ostendorf, Lucille Lammers, Ruth Johnson and Mary Kemper. Eileen is preceded in death by 8 In-Laws: Henry Kemper, Leo Kemper, Lawrence Kemper, Alphonse Kemper, John Kemper, Frances Muzechuck, Bertha Gasser and Amelia Burdg.
Eileen was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville; its Altar Rosary Society and took care of the church religion articles and volunteered at church in many ways. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and volunteered at area nursing homes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Fr. Jerome Schetter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp., where a scripture service will be at 2 p.m.
