Eldon J. Ridinger

OTTAWA – Eldon J. Ridinger, 63, of Ottawa, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at his residence.  He was born July 5, 1960, in Bluffton to the late Charles E. and Cecile (Lusk) Ridinger.

Eldon is survived by two children: Valarie Dean, and Theron (Denisse) Ridinger; two grandchildren: Carter and Franco Ridinger; and three siblings: Natalie Crawford-Okuley, John (Melissa) Mettler and Tiffany (Jeff) Froelich.

He is preceded in death by a grandson, Hayden Ridinger; a brother, Charles Ridinger II; a niece, Andrea Mettler (Niese); and a brother-in-law, Mike Okuley

Eldon had worked at Campbell's, Napoleon.  He loved flying and enjoyed RC Airplanes.  Eldon was a self-taught piano player who loved to play and compose his own music.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Tom Pitney officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the funeral home.
