Eleanor L. Leinsetter
LEIPSIC - Eleanor L. Leinsetter, 91, of Leipsic, died at 1:14 P.M. Friday, March 20, 2015, at The Meadows of Leipsic, exactly 38 years after her husband's passing. She was born on June 29, 1923, in Leipsic, to the late Ernest and Helen (Martin) Rothenberger. On October 18, 1941 she married Eugene Leinsetter who died on March 20, 1977.
Eleanor is survived by three children: Patricia Eberle of Lima, Charlotte (Powell) Prater of Findlay, and Roger (Karen) Leinsetter of Ft. Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a sister: Rosemary Mullett of Leipsic. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Wilbur Rothenberger, Herschel Rothenberger; and one granddaughter: Rhonda Eberle.
Eleanor retired in 1989 after 10 years at Thornburgs Drugstore in North Webster. She enjoyed spending her time reading and dearly loved her family.
A graveside service will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic, with Pastor Tom Graves officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice.
